A large national freight company is seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join their workshop team.
Locations
- Primarily based at the Kemps Creek depot
- Flexibility to also work at the Warwick Farm depot when required
The Role
- Full time permanent position
- Dayshift - start 6:00am or 7:00am
- Service, diagnose and repair heavy diesel trucks and fleet vehicles
- Carry out preventative maintenance, scheduled services and breakdown repairs
- Fault find on engines, brakes, suspension, electrical systems, hydraulics and general truck components
- Complete service records and report major issues
- Follow all workshop and site safety procedures
- Help keep the fleet reliable and minimise downtime in a busy freight environment
About You
- Qualified or experienced Heavy Diesel / Truck Mechanic
- Strong mechanical fault-finding skills
- Comfortable working independently and managing your own workload
- Willing to work across Kemps Creek and Warwick Farm sites as needed
- Current driver's licence
- Reliable, practical and safety-focused
- Light vehicle or plant mechanics with strong mechanical aptitude will also be considered
Also recruiting We are also looking for an experienced Forklift Mechanic for the Kemps Creek depot to service and repair the onsite forklift fleet. Mechanically minded candidates with workshop experience are encouraged to apply.
