n We are looking for an experienced Infringements Review Officer to join a local council in Melbourne's northern suburbs on a temporary contract through to 14 December 2026.
n
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong administration and customer service skills who has experience working in an enforcement environment .
About the role: n
n
- Provide customer service and administrative support across the Appeals Department.
n
- Process Driver Nominations for Parking infringements
n
- Review Family Violence and Enforcement Review cases
n
- Manage and respond to requests and complaints within established timeframes.
n
- Prepare routine written correspondence and maintain accurate records.
n
- Develop and maintain an understanding of relevant legislation, regulations, Council policies and procedures.
n
Key Criteria: nn
- Previous experience in an administrative role within a compliance, enforcement or government environment .
n
- An understanding of the types of enforcement activities undertaken within a compliance team within local council.
n
- Robust customer service and communication skills.
n
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
n
- Local government experience is highly regarded
