About Us Rasheed and Sons Pty Ltd is an established automotive and roadside assistance business providing professional vehicle assistance and mechanical services to customers across Sydney. We are seeking a reliable, skilled and customer-focused Automotive Mechanic - Roadside Assistance Technician to join our team.

About the Role This is a hands-on roadside assistance position involving attendance at customer locations to diagnose and resolve a range of vehicle mechanical and electrical issues. The successful applicant will be able to work independently, demonstrate strong mechanical diagnostic skills and provide safe, professional and courteous customer service.

Key Responsibilities

- Attend roadside assistance jobs and provide professional mechanical assistance
n
- Diagnose and repair a range of vehicle mechanical faults
n
- Perform battery, starting and charging system checks
n
- Diagnose basic automotive electrical faults
n
- Carry out minor mechanical repairs and fault diagnosis
n
- Safely use automotive diagnostic equipment and tools
n
- Communicate professionally with customers and provide clear advice
n
- Complete job reports and required documentation
n
- Maintain company vehicles, tools and equipment
n




- Follow workplace health and safety procedures
n
- Manage roadside jobs efficiently and independently
n

About You The successful applicant will be reliable, professional and comfortable working in a hands-on roadside environment. Essential Requirements

n

n
- Minimum Certificate III or Certificate IV in Automotive Technology / Automotive Mechanical Technology
n
- Australian-recognized automotive trade qualification
n
- Minimum 12 months of relevant automotive mechanical experience
n
- Current NSW trade person license - mandatory
n
- Full Australian Driver License
n
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
n
- Basic automotive electrical knowledge
n
- Good communication and customer service skills
n
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision
n
- Reliable and punctual work ethic
n
- Qualified presentation and attitude
n
- Ability to work safely in roadside and traffic environments
n
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
n
