The BFG & Tug Transport Manager is responsible for the safe and efficient management of Multiquip's BFG transport and Tug Driver operations. This role oversees transport planning, driver coordination, and trailer movements between the Processing Plant, BFG Plant, and Loganholme Depot, while ensuring compliance, safety, and operational performance.

About the Role

The BFG & Tug Transport Manager is responsible for ensuring drivers, vehicles, trailers, and resources are effectively managed to meet operational and customer requirements. This hands-on role provides day-to-day leadership of transport operations, proactively resolving issues, supporting driver performance, and working closely with internal teams and the HSEQ/Safety Advisor to manage incidents, deliver training, and drive continuous improvements in safety, efficiency, and service delivery.





Your day-to-day will include:

Lead the day-to-day operations of the BFG transport and Tug Driver teams, ensuring protected, efficient and reliable service delivery.

Coordinate driver schedules, fleet allocation, transport planning and trailer movements across the Loganholme Depot, Processing Plant and BFG Plant.

Ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR), HVNL, WHS requirements and company procedures.

Monitor fleet performance, maintenance requirements, vehicle inspections and equipment availability.

Lead, coach and support drivers through training, onboarding, performance management and workforce planning.

Respond to operational issues, incidents and disruptions, implementing solutions to minimise downtime and maintain service levels.

Build strong relationships with operational teams and stakeholders to support continuous improvement in safety, efficiency and customer service.

Maintain accurate operational records, reports and compliance documentation.

What You’ll Need

HC or MC driver’s licence (required)

Proven experience leading a team in a hands-on role ( agriculture, logistics, or similar)

Strong communication and organisational skills

Physically fit and comfortable with manual work

Willingness to comply with PPE, hygiene, and biosecurity protocols

(Note: You must not keep live poultry, avian species, or pigs at your residence)
