People2people is partnering with an established boutique accounting practice in West Perth to recruit an experienced Senior Manager / Business Services Manager.

n

This is a hands-on leadership position for a commercially minded accountant who enjoys managing client relationships, developing people and providing practical business advice—not simply reviewing numbers.

n

The successful candidate will manage a high-quality portfolio of private wealth, family and investment client groups while leading a team of local and offshore accountants. For someone with the right capability and ambition, there is a genuine long-term opportunity to progress to Partnership as part of the firm's succession planning.

The Role

n

Your key responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Managing a portfolio of large and high-net-worth private client groups
n
- Acting as a trusted adviser and key point of contact for clients
n
- Providing taxation, accounting and commercial business advice
n
- Reviewing financial statements, tax returns and compliance work
n
- Remaining hands-on with complex client matters and technical issues
n
- Leading, mentoring and developing local and offshore accountants
n
- Managing workflow, deadlines and quality standards across the team
n
- Working closely with the Partners on client strategy and firm initiatives
n




- Identifying opportunities to provide additional value to clients
n
- Contributing to the firm's continued growth and succession planning
n

About You

n

To be successful, you will have:

n

n
- CA or CPA qualification
n
- Strong Australian public practice experience
n
- Current experience at Manager or Senior Manager level
n
- Experience managing large, complex and high-net-worth client groups
n
- Strong taxation, accounting and business advisory knowledge
n
- Demonstrated leadership and people-management capability
n
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
n
- A commercial, practical and solutions-focused approach
n
- The confidence to work directly with senior clients and stakeholders
n
- A hands-on approach and willingness to remain involved in client work
n
- The ambition and capability to progress toward Partnership
n

Experience using Xero and MYOB would be advantageous. The successful candidate will also be required to obtain a police clearance.
