As well as maximizing revenue, they take responsibility for accurate forecasts.

What you’ll achieve

As a Data Center Sales Executive,you will proactively identify and solve customer business needs by providing subject matter expertise and creating solutions using Dell’s products and services. You will develop solid relationships with key customer contacts at all levels of the business to gain an understanding of key business drivers that influence purchasing decisions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop & manage relationships with executive, business and technical decision makers within your define account territory

- Develop and lead sales campaigns from identification through to closure whilst working in conjunction with your extended team to grow Dell’s share of wallet across your customer territory





- Be a leader in a cross-functional sales team and be willing to challenge the “status quo”

- Research and apply industry and market knowledge to present the positive value of our solutions

- Lead with a customer focused attitude and be part of a high performing sales team culture

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential Requirements

- Demonstrated experience in a field based, relationship selling role (10 years +)

- Demonstrated experience in consultative solution selling capacity preferably within a Tier-1 vendor or cloud organisation

- Proven ability to develop sales campaigns and pipeline development with a track record in acquiring new business

- Proven experience in understanding client priorities and articulating business value

- AGSVA Clearance

Highly Desirable Requirements

- Experience working with large enterprise accounts and constructing large complex deals

- Strong understanding and technical competency in data center technical architectures across compute, storage and networking domains.

- Strong understanding of Microsoft, VMWare and RedHat hybrid cloud architectures

- Excellent communication, negotiation & collaboration skills

- Strong presentation skills to medium to large audiences including public speaking experience

This role is based in Canberra.
