About the role

As an HV Cable Jointer, you will play a key role in the installation, jointing, and termination of high-voltage cable systems across a variety of industrial and utility projects.

Key responsibilities

- Install indoor and outdoor cable terminations to substations, transformers, switchgear, pole-top equipment, and other HV assets.

- Perform HV cable jointing and termination works in accordance with manufacturer specifications, industry standards, and project requirements.

- Ensure all tasks are completed safely and comply with company procedures and statutory regulations.

- Complete workplace documentation, project records, and reports as required.

- Work collaboratively within a team environment to deliver high-quality project outcomes.

- Maintain a robust commitment to workplace health, safety, and environmental standards.

About you





- Certificate III in ESI – Cable Jointing

- Minimum 2 years' experience in HV cable jointing

- Current Australian C Class Driver's Licence

- Demonstrated experience with HV inline cable joints and indoor/outdoor terminations

- Sound understanding of HV electrical safety practices, procedures, and industry standards

- Strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and teamwork

- Ability to work across metropolitan, regional, and project-based locations as required

- Construction Induction Safety Certificate (White Card) – highly regarded

- Experience working within mining, power generation, renewable energy, or infrastructure sectors – highly regarded
