High School Marker / Junior Learning Assistant

Success Tutoring Chatswood is looking for organised, reliable and academically capable junior team members to support our after-school learning centre.

This role is well suited to secondary students from Year 7 onwards who are confident in Mathematics and English, work quickly and accurately, and would like to develop toward an Assistant Teacher position.

Key responsibilities

- Mark Mathematics and English work accurately and efficiently.
- Organise student work, records and learning materials.
- Support smooth session transitions and help the teaching team when required.
- Follow centre procedures, arrive on time and complete time-sensitive tasks.
- Progress into supervised student support and Assistant Teacher duties after training and assessment.

What we are looking for
- Strong current school results in Mathematics and English.
- Fast, accurate work and excellent organisation.
- Ability to multitask in a busy learning environment.
- Reliable attendance and strict punctuality.
- Clear, polite communication and a positive attitude.
- Availability for at least two regular centre days each week.

Preferred availability
- Wednesday: 3:00 pm–7:00 pm
- Friday: 3:00 pm–7:00 pm
- Saturday: 9:00 am–2:30 pm

Applicants available for only one regular day per week will not progress.

Training and development

New-staff online training and the trial shift are paid work. Team members may apply for a level review after completing relevant training,



and may progress after passing an in-centre assessment.

- Most recent Mathematics and English subjects and results.
- Any relevant tutoring, coaching, volunteering or child-related experience.
- Working With Children Check status, where applicable.

Pay is set in accordance with the applicable classification, age, experience and legal award requirements. Work location: In person at Success Tutoring Chatswood, 31 Albert Avenue, Chatswood NSW 2067.
