About the role

Catholic Homes is seeking Home Care Support Workers to join our Home Care team on a part-time and casual basis in Forrestfield, Helena Valley, Kalamunda and Lesmurdie. These positions will be responsible for providing in-home personal care, domestic assistance, social support, transport and/or daily living supports for our home care clients.

While we are recruiting for both casual and part-time opportunities, we are particularly interested in candidates seeking a part-time position, as we currently have regular shifts available and ready to be allocated.

We have shifts available on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays between 7:00am and 6:00pm and would love to hear from candidates who can offer flexibility and availability across these days.

Candidates who are able to commit to consistent part-time hours will be highly regarded.

Our growing Support at Home program helps older people live safely and independently in their own homes. Services are tailored to individual needs and may include clinical care, allied health, personal support and assistance with daily living.

About you

You embody Catholic Homes values of love, hospitality, excellence and joy, and are passionate about helping older Australians maintain their independence, wellbeing and connection to their community while continuing to live safely and comfortably in their own homes.

In addition, you will have:

- Flexibility and availability to work weekdays between 7am - 6pm;
- Experience in Community Aged Care or NDIS support;
- A roadworthy, registered vehicle with comprehensive car insurance;
- A current driver's licence;
- A qualification in Aged Care (desirable);
- Comfortable and confident driving between clients' homes;




- A warm, friendly personality and a genuine willingness to engage and build rapport with clients;
- A solid commitment to reliability, flexibility, and professionalism;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- A caring and empathetic nature, with the ability to support elderly clients with dignity and respect;
- A person-centred approach to care and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in people’s lives;
- Pride in your work, personal presentation, and the quality of care you provide;
- The ability and commitment to uphold high standards of work and represent Catholic Homes positively at all times.
