At Goodwin Aged Care Services, our Home Care Support Workers provide practical, compassionate support tailored to each client’s needs. We’re looking for reliable people who value dignity, connection and quality care.

What you’ll do

- Support clients with personal care, household tasks, shopping, transport, respite and social activities.
- Follow individual care plans and encourage clients to remain as independent as possible.
- Build respectful relationships with clients and work closely with the care team.
- Complete care records and promptly report changes, concerns or incidents.
- Assist with medication administration when trained and authorised.

What you’ll bring





- Experience supporting older people and helping them achieve their care and independence goals.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with clients, families and colleagues.
- The ability to work with limited supervision, manage competing tasks and adapt to different client needs.
- Confidence using office systems and completing accurate documentation and records.
- A commitment to developing your skills and delivering person-centred care.

Mandatory requirements

- A current driver’s licence.
- A car available for work, with current registration and comprehensive insurance. The vehicle must undergo quarterly checks.
- Copies of your licence, registration and insurance before commencement and whenever they are renewed.
- A smartphone that is charged, switched on and has sufficient credit and data during work hours.
- The ability to obtain and maintain any required background checks and clearances.

Qualifications

- A Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care or Home and Community Care), a higher qualification or a similar qualification is highly desirable. If you don’t hold one, you’ll need to obtain it within the terms of your employment agreement.
- A Medication Skill Set is highly desirable.
