About the role

This role manages the customer journey from lead eligibility through to settlement. It is responsible for having detailed customer conversations by completing a needs analysis, validating information, and conducting preliminary assessments to ensure the loan meets a customer's requirements and objectives. Applications are to be accurately packaged and ready for assessment in line with responsible lending obligations.

You’ll action all eligible leads within 48 hours, collect and follow up on supporting documentation, and resolve any gaps or discrepancies before submission. You’ll also complete serviceability checks, identify policy exceptions or complex scenarios, and escalate these with appropriate mitigations for consideration.

With a strong focus on compliance and attention to detail, you’ll ensure all required disclosures and records are captured, maintain accurate and consistent data across lending systems, and support a smooth handover to assessment and decisioning teams.

About You

- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in residential mortgage lending
- Knowledge of the National Consumer Credit Protection Act In respect to new loan applications

- Knowledge of responsible lending regulations and guidelines
- Experience in a similar position highly regarded
- High-level competency in Keystart policy - highly regarded.
- Certificate IV – Credit Management or Finance and Mortgage Broking is advantageous
