JOB TITLE: Hospitality Worker

JOB TYPE: Full-time

LOCATION: Goldfields Hotel Motel, Tennant Creek NT

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

· Provide flexible customer service across the motel's pub, bar, meal-service and guest-facing functions according to rostered operational needs.

· Greet patrons and guests, respond to routine enquiries and provide information about meals, beverages, accommodation and venue facilities.

· Take food and beverage orders and serve meals and drinks to customers.

· Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages where rostered to bar duties and appropriately licensed.

· Operate point-of-sale systems, process payments and follow cash-handling procedures.

· Set, clear and clean tables and maintain bar, dining and other customer-service areas in a clean and presentable condition.

· Assist with basic accommodation enquiries or reservations and refer check-in, room or booking issues to management where required.

· Replenish beverages, service items and other hospitality stock and assist with routine stock counts.





· Support other front-of-house functions during busy periods to maintain continuous service in the regional motel/pub operation.

· Comply with responsible service of alcohol, food-safety, workplace health and safety and other procedures applicable to assigned duties.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Qualifications: Certificate II in Hospitality (SIT20322) or equivalent, or at least one year of relevant hospitality experience. Current NT-approved Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate (SITHFAB021) is required for bar duties; food-safety handler training (SITXFSA005) is required for food-service duties.

Experience: Relevant experience in a pub, hotel, motel, restaurant or other customer-facing hospitality setting.

Pay: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
