LOCATION: Goldfields Hotel Motel, Tennant Creek NT

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

· Manage the day-to-day operation of Goldfields Hotel Motel as a regional motel and pub business, including accommodation, licensed bar, hot-food service, housekeeping and supporting operational functions.

· Coordinate motel reservations, guest check-in and check-out, room allocation, room readiness and guest enquiries.

· Oversee the licensed pub and bar operation, including staffing, customer service, stock control, cash handling and compliance with liquor licensing and responsible service requirements.

· Oversee the commercial kitchen and hot-food service in conjunction with the Head Chef, ensuring meal service is appropriately staffed and coordinated with the bar and guest operations.

· Plan staff rosters and supervise employees across accommodation, bar, kitchen and housekeeping functions, providing hands-on operational support when required.

· Monitor guest and patron satisfaction, respond to complaints and operational issues, and maintain appropriate service standards for a regional motel and pub.

· Oversee purchasing and stock requirements for accommodation, bar, kitchen and general operating supplies and monitor routine operating costs and revenue controls.





· Coordinate property maintenance, security, cleaning and presentation and arrange contractors or repairs when required.

· Ensure the business complies with applicable liquor, food-safety, workplace health and safety and accommodation requirements.

· Liaise with suppliers, contractors, local service providers and other parties necessary for the continued operation of the business.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Qualifications: Diploma of Hospitality Management (SIT50422) or equivalent, or at least three years of relevant management experience in accommodation and/or licensed hospitality. Current NT-approved Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate is required; a Food Safety Supervisor certificate is desirable.

Experience: Demonstrated management experience in a motel, hotel, pub or comparable regional hospitality business involving accommodation and food and beverage operations.

Pay: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
