About the Role: Join our team as a Services Assistant, providing essential catering, cleaning and housekeeping services that make a real difference to the health unit and its clients. This varied role offers the opportunity to prepare and deliver meals, maintain a welcoming environment and assist with laundry duties.
What We're Looking For:
Essential Criteria
- Ability to work effectively in a team and relate to people from diverse backgrounds.
- Flexible approach to work, rostering and changing environments.
- Good communication, interpersonal, written and numeracy skills.
- Basic knowledge of food safety, infection control, cleaning and safe work practices.
- Limited experience in housekeeping, catering/cooking and laundry, with basic computer skills.
Desired Criteria
- Year 11 completion and current First Aid certificate.
- Experience in housekeeping, catering/cooking and laundry, with basic computer skills.
- Demonstrated manual handling skills and knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity principles.
