HR Manager | People & Experience

We're looking for an experienced HR Manager to join Versatile Group and play a key leadership role within our People & Experience function.

Reporting to the Chief People & Experience Officer, you'll partner closely with leaders across the business to deliver strategic and operational HR outcomes. You'll be responsible for leading people initiatives, driving employee engagement, managing complex people matters, and helping shape the future of our culture as the business continues to grow.

This is a highly visible, business-facing role that offers the opportunity to influence organisational outcomes, coach leaders, and bring our people strategy to life.

About the Role

As HR Manager, you'll act as a trusted partner to leaders across the business, balancing strategic initiatives with hands-on HR leadership.

Key Responsibilities

- Partner with leaders to deliver strategic people outcomes that support business objectives
- Lead and manage employee relations matters, investigations, performance management, and workplace issues
- Coach, develop, and influence leaders to strengthen leadership capability across the business
- Drive employee engagement, wellbeing, culture, and employee experience initiatives
- Lead talent management, succession planning, and career development discussions
- Support workforce planning and organisational design initiatives
- Contribute to leadership development and learning programs
- Embed People & Experience frameworks, policies, and best practice processes
- Analyse people metrics and employee feedback to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Lead and contribute to key people projects across the employee lifecycle
- Support change management and organisational transformation initiatives

About You





You're an experienced HR professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys partnering closely with leaders to drive meaningful outcomes.

You'll bring

- Proven experience as an HR Manager, Senior HR Business Partner, or Senior HR Advisor ready to step into a management role
- Strong employee relations expertise and sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation
- Demonstrated experience partnering with senior leaders and influencing decision-making
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to align people strategies with business outcomes
- Exceptional communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience leading organisational change and people initiatives
- A proactive, solutions-focused, and hands-on approach
- Solid ownership, accountability, and the ability to operate autonomously
- Passion for creating outstanding employee experiences and high-performing cultures
