About the role

Programmed is seeking reliable and professional HR/MR Drivers to join our team on a casual basis. Based in Netley, SA 5037, this role is perfect for experienced drivers looking for adaptable work opportunities in the courier, driving As an HR/MR Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of parcels throughout your designated routes, ensuring excellent customer service whilst maintaining the highest standards of vehicle maintenance and safety compliance. Day shift requirement from 7am or 8am with full workings hours on weekdays.

Key responsibilities

- Safely operate HR/MR class vehicles for the delivery of parcels, and packages
- Plan and execute delivery routes efficiently to meet customer expectations and time requirements
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections and vehicle mileage
- Conduct pre-delivery vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and report any mechanical issues
- Provide professional and courteous customer service during all deliveries and collections
- Comply with all traffic regulations, road safety rules and company policies
- Handle packages with care to prevent damage and maintain delivery quality
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding route updates and delivery issues

What we're looking for

- Valid HR or MR class driver's licence with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role




- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and road safety regulations
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Reliable, punctual and professional attitude with a strong work ethic
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage delivery routes efficiently
- A current National Police Check or willingness to obtain one
- Ability to clear a pre- employment medical and obtain a recent drivers history check.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and delivery tracking software is desirable
