The Intensive Caseworker plays a vital role in supportingyoung people involved with Youth Justice to successfully transition into theircommunities and move towards greater independence. Working alongside youngpeople, families and key support networks, you will help reduce barriers toeducation, employment, social connection and wellbeing.

Throughstrengths-based, trauma-informed practice, you’ll empower young people to buildresilience, make positive life choices and develop the confidence to thrive. Thisis an chance to contribute to meaningful, long-term outcomes thatstrengthen individuals, families and the wider community.

Position Details

- Part time, fixed term position until 30 June2027
- 0.8 FTE working 60.8 hours per fortnight
- $105,835 (pro-rata) p/a + Super + SalaryPackaging

What We’re Looking For

Wevalue individuals who bring dedication, empathy, and expertise to their roles.To succeed in this position, you will have:

- Tertiary qualification (or equivalent) inYouth Work, Social Work or Community Welfare (Diploma+). Will consider arelevant combination of education and experience.
- Experience in providing case managementsupport to vulnerable individuals and families utilising the Best InterestsCase Management Framework.
- Proven ability to engage and case-manage youngpeople at risk and young people exhibiting challenging behaviours
- An understanding of the impact of trauma onyoung people and the ability to work from a trauma informed approach
- Ability to undertake needs identification andrisk assessments to inform decision making, planning and interventions for anindividual or family plan




- Understanding of the purpose and expectationsof the Victorian Child Safe Standards and demonstrated commitment tocontributing to a child safe organisation in both practice and culture.
