APEX SERVICES VICTORIA PTY LTD We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated culinary professional who wants to take ownership of the kitchen, contribute creative ideas to our menu and help lead a dedicated team.

You will play a key role in shaping the dining experience and maintaining the high standards our customers expect. Benefits Competitive annual salary package of $75,000 – $90,000 plus superannuation. Stable, full-time ongoing position.

Task & responsibilities Plan and design menus, estimate food and labour costs, and order food supplies to meet business needs.

Oversee the quality of dishes at every stage of preparation and presentation to ensure consistent standards. Liaise with managers, dietitians, kitchen staff and front-of-house staff to resolve food preparation issues. Demonstrate cooking techniques and provide guidance to kitchen staff on correct procedures.





Prepare and cook a wide range of dishes to a high standard. Communicate, implement and enforce food safety and hygiene regulations in the kitchen. Assist in the selection and training of kitchen staff as required.

Freeze and preserve food using appropriate methods where required. Plan and coordinate the overall preparation and cooking of food within the establishment.

Qualification & experience Relevant qualification in Commercial Cookery.

1–3 years of relevant experience working as a Chef. Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards. Strong organisational and time management skills.

Ability to work well under pressure in a rapid-paced environment.
