CNC Machinist – Commercial Joinery & Shopfitting n

We are a leading commercial and retail shopfitting and bespoke joinery manufacturer , operating a modern CNC-based production facility delivering high-end fitouts across hospitality, medical, fitness, retail and large-scale commercial environments.

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to operate our Biesse CNC machine , supporting the production of high-quality joinery components within a fast-paced commercial manufacturing environment.
n
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC operator who enjoys precision machining, modern equipment, and being part of a professional production team.
The Role n
You will be responsible for operating and programming our Biesse CNC machine , preparing materials, managing production workflows, and ensuring accurate, efficient and high-quality machining outcomes.
n
You will work closely with our drafting, cabinet making and production teams to deliver precision-cut components for commercial and bespoke joinery projects.
Key Responsibilities n
n
- n
Operate and program Biesse CNC machinery for cutting, drilling and shaping joinery components
n
- n
Set up tooling, speeds and feeds for various materials
n
- n
Read and interpret shop drawings and CNC files to ensure accurate machining
n
- n
Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
n
- n
Manage material logs and stock tracking
n
- n
Safely operate a forklift to load, unload and move materials
n
- n
Maintain a clean,
organised and safe working environment
n
- n
Work collaboratively with production and assembly teams to meet deadlines
n
- n
Follow WHS policies and safe work practices at all times
n
About You nn
- n
Proven experience as a CNC Machinist in a joinery or cabinet-making environment
n
- n
Experience operating Biesse / BSuite or similar CNC software (training available for robust candidates)
n
- n
Strong attention to detail and quality control
n
- n
Solid understanding of CNC machining processes and workflows
n
- n
Experience with machine maintenance and troubleshooting
n
- n
Comfortable managing material logs and stock records
n
- n
Forklift licence preferred (or willingness to obtain)
n
- n
Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
n
- n
Training Can be provided for the right Candidate
