About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior or Principal Engineer to join our team in Gladstone. Working alongside key leaders, this pivotal role is focused on helping drive and expedite our growth in the region while leading complex technical projects for tier-1 civil, port, water and mining infrastructure clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Take the lead in business development across the Gladstone region, cultivating trusted client relationships, uncovering new opportunities, and developing strategic partnerships that support the continued growth and success of our engineering business.
- Lead structural, civil or mechanical design, inspection, and remedial projects with a focus on safety, efficiency, and compliance.
- Oversee and produce high-level engineering deliverables, including design calculations in accordance with Australian Standards.
- Perform site-based assessments and inspections to guide client maintenance strategies.
- Utilise software to perform complex analysis and modelling.




- Mentor junior and intermediate engineers, fostering technical growth and team knowledge-sharing.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering.
- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status and RPEQ registration strongly preferred.
- 10+ years of engineering experience, ideally with direct exposure to the Gladstone / Central Queensland industrial and mining market.
- Proven experience leading projects on Tier 1 mining, water, ports, or heavy infrastructure sites.
- Strong track record in client relationship building and strategic site growth.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
