About the role

As the Payroll Specialist, you will report to the Financial Controller and will be responsible for the preparation and processing of the fortnightly company payroll. This role forms part of a small, well-oiled, positive, and qualified team and could encompass a range of accounting responsibilities depending on the capabilities and capacity of the successful candidate.

Duties may include:

Prepare and administer the fortnightly payroll:



500+ employees nationally

Act as the main point of contact for senior employee payroll related queries

Administer on / offboarding and national Workcover

Calculate and manage statutory dues

Assist the finance team with ad hoc finance and administration support

Skills & experience

Recent success in a role with similar responsibilities in hands-on payroll processing

Systems savvy, detail oriented and confident with MS Excel

Previous experience with Pronto (desirable)

Positive minded communication expert

Positive, agile, and progressive national organisation
