Oceania Engineering Services (OES) is a Perth-based specialist HVAC company working across offshore, marine and energy facilities. We support our clients with engineering, assurance, installation, commissioning, maintenance, repairs and refurbishment scopes. About the role

OES is seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer to join our team in a client-facing capacity, supporting our offshore, marine, and industrial project portfolio. This role is based within the Perth CBD with potential for offshore travel as project needs require. You'll work directly with a major energy sector client, providing subject matter expertise while acting as a key point of contact for operational matters.

Key responsibilities

- Acting as a technical point of contact for the client
- Reviewing HVAC system operation, designs, specifications, maintenance schedules and scopes of work
- Supporting planning, work preparation and procurement departments as required
- Occasional offshore site visits to support project delivery and client relations
- Liaising with site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project outcomes are met
- Contributing to continuous improvement of engineering processes and documentation

About you

- Degree-qualified Mechanical Engineer with minimum 5 years' experience in HVAC and/or refrigeration engineering
- Exposure to offshore, marine,



or industrial environments (preferred but not essential)
- Solid communication skills with the confidence to represent OES directly with clients
- Sound technical knowledge across HVAC system design, refurbishment, and troubleshooting
- Experience working to relevant Australian/International standards and compliance requirements
- Willingness and ability to travel offshore as required
- Ability to manage competing priorities and stakeholders
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail
- Right to work in Australia is essential
