CareCone is hiring an experienced Senior Identity & Access Management (IAM) Engineer for a leading technology client in Sydney, Australia .

? Location: Sydney, NSW

? Employment Type: Full-Time

? Role: Senior IAM Engineer

? Experience: 10–15 Years

? Must Have:

- Full working rights in Australia
- No sponsorship available

• 10–15 years of relevant Identity & Access Management experience

• Strong experience with Identity Frameworks including OAuth, SAML and OpenID Connect

• Proven experience with Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) solutions

• Strong expertise in Access Management and Security Protocols

• Hands-on experience with Active Directory and LDAP

• Experience with Identity Lifecycle Management, Authentication & Authorization

- Robust analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
- Experience designing and implementing secure IAM solutions

? Desirable Experience:

• Cloud-based identity solutions such as Azure AD / Microsoft Entra ID and AWS IAM

• PowerShell or Python scripting for automation

• Knowledge of NIST and ISO 27001 security frameworks

- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements

• Experience conducting IAM risk assessments and security audits

• IAM / Security certifications such as CISSP,



CISM or relevant IAM certifications

? What You’ll Do:

• Design and implement IAM solutions aligned with security and compliance requirements

• Develop and maintain identity frameworks supporting authentication, authorization and identity lifecycle management

- Integrate IAM solutions with enterprise applications and existing systems
- Work closely with security, architecture, engineering and business teams

• Conduct risk assessments, audits and security reviews of IAM processes

- Provide technical guidance on IAM best practices and security standards
- Develop and maintain IAM documentation, processes and procedures

• Stay up to date with emerging IAM technologies and security trends

? Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field

• 10–15 years of professional experience in Identity & Access Management

- Proven experience delivering successful IAM projects
