About the role The Information Communication and Technology Manager is a leadership role at Sacred Heart College and is responsible for effectively managing College technology. The ICT Manager is responsible for providing strategic direction and reports directly to the Business Manager and provides strategic advice, reports, proposals and submissions. The ICT Manager is responsible for implementing and maintaining systems, policies and processes that meet the requirements of the College.

The ICT Manager is responsible for promoting best practices in information communication and technology that improve educational outcomes for students. The ICT Manager is a hands-on technical role. Within the role, the ICT Manager supports the Catholic Identity and Evangelising Mission of the College and works collaboratively with other staff and members of the School community to assist students to achieve enhanced learning outcomes.

Key responsibilities

- Manage the continuous improvement of Enterprise Systems and services

- Implement, maintain and support highly available and redundant systems

- Manage change effectively, minimise disruptions to IT services while making changes to critical systems and services

- Manage disaster recovery systems and processes to ensure business continuity for IT services

- Lead the resolution of complex technical issues

- Manage, monitor, and maintain business critical systems, such as the student information system (SIS) and the learning management system (LMS)

- Manage the end-to-end delivery of IT services to staff, students and parents

- Manage IT hardware and software resources, including planning for replacement and service life of equipment





- Establish and review processes to ensure the effective and effective functioning of ICT support and delivery of customer service excellence

- Lead the ICT Team by assisting staff, students and parents with a customer focus approach

About you

- Tertiary qualification in ICT or other relevant discipline and/or experience in relevant field

- Valid Working with Vulnerable People Registration

- Current and satisfactory Nation Police Criminal History Check (NPCHC)

- Extensive knowledge and experience of the ICT service discipline

- Work with a high degree of autonomy

- Demonstrated success as a highly effective leader of staff

- Demonstrated ability to be successful in a demanding and multifaceted role

- Excellent time management and organisational abilities

- Outstanding communication skills

- Exercise judgement and discretion
