Westside Christian College is a vibrant K-12 interdenominational Protestant College of 1,300+ students in Goodna, Queensland. We're looking for a friendly, capable ICT Support Officer to be the helpful hands and friendly face of our IT team - keeping staff and students connected, supported and confident with technology.
Your Opportunity
- Be our frontline tech support - supporting staff and students in person and over the service desk.
- Fix day-to-day issues across Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, Outlook and Teams.
- Set up, deploy and maintain devices, printers and classroom audio-visual technology.
- Support accounts, access and connectivity across the College.
- Keep our systems secure - patching, endpoint security and smart cyber hygiene.
- Build knowledge articles and help train our people so they can do more on their own.
- Work with the IT Manager and team on rollouts and projects that genuinely help teaching and learning.
About You
- Cert III or IV in Information Technology (or equivalent hands-on experience).
- Real Level 1/2 helpdesk or technical support experience.
- Strong people skills - you can explain tech in plain language and make people feel helped.
- Solid Windows and Microsoft 365 skills, hardware instincts, and a knack for networking and audio-visual technology.
- Care for the details - accounts, assets, security
