S Group Pty Ltd is a growing commercial cleaning company based in Hallam, Victoria. We're looking for an experienced accountant to join our team on site and run the business's finances day to day.

About the role

You will report directly to the Director and look after the full accounting function, including:

- Accounts payable and receivable, invoicing and debtor follow-up
- Weekly/fortnightly payroll under the Cleaning Services Award 2020, including STP reporting
- BAS, GST, PAYG withholding and superannuation lodgements
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- Month-end and year-end processes, and management reports
- Cash flow tracking, budgets and job costing for contracts
- Payroll tax, WorkCover and insurance renewals
- Working with our external tax agent and auditors
- Improving systems, processes and record-keeping

About you

- Degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/CA qualified or studying is a plus)




- Strong hands-on skills in [Xero / MYOB / QuickBooks] and Excel
- Good knowledge of Australian payroll, awards, GST and BAS
- Organised, accurate and able to work independently
- Ability to speak Punjabi is highly regarded, as many of our staff and stakeholders are Punjabi speaking
