The Perkins is looking for an experienced and highly organised Individual Giving Manager who puts donors at the heart of everything they do. This position is offered on a full time (0.8 considered) 12 month maximum term contract (parental leave cover) located at our state-of the-art medical research facilities in Nedlands.

The main focus of this parental leave position is to lead an approved, individual giving strategy designed to acquire, retain and grow lifelong supporters by creating meaningful donor experiences and building relationships that inspire people to stay connected to the Perkins. From the first gift to long-term relationship building, you’ll help make every donor feel valued, informed and part of something bigger.

About this role

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Impact, the Individual Giving Manager will lead the planning and delivery of Perkins’ Individual Giving Program, combining great fundraising, meaningful donor experiences and data-led decision making.

You’ll work across annual, mid-level and regular giving to attract new donors, grow supporter relationships and increase sustainable fundraising income. You’ll oversee channels including Face to Face, Direct Mail Cash Acquisition and Appeals, Value Exchange and Digital Fundraising. You will be responsible for managing compelling campaigns and stewardship journeys, driven by data that ensure every donor feels valued, connected and inspired.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

- Lead the planning and delivery of individual giving campaigns,



ensuring targets and opportunities are maximised.
- Utilise data, insights and reporting to guide decisions and improve fundraising outcomes.
- Create positive donor experiences and stewardship activities that strengthen relationships, improve retention and grow giving.
- Managing the development of engaging fundraising campaigns, websites and campaign materials, in collaboration with internal and external teams.
- Contribute to fundraising strategies and budgets that support the Perkins’ long-term goals.
- Maintain accurate donor records and communications and uphold ethical fundraising practices.
- Support a small team to deliver priorities, meet deadlines and achieve fundraising objectives.
- Project managing our third-party Face to Face, telemarketing, fundraising and print partners.

This role would suit a self-motivated, collaborative and creative fundraiser who loves making things happen, is comfortable managing multiple projects and is passionate about donor experiences driven by data insights. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves bringing ideas and data to life, working collaboratively and finding new ways to turn generosity into lasting impact. You’ll play an important role in growing sustainable individual giving income while keeping the donor experience at the heart everything we do.

To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

- A relevant tertiary qualification in marketing, public relations, business or a related discipline, or equivalent knowledge and experience.
- At least three years’ experience in individual giving, with demonstrated success in donor acquisition, retention and income growth.
- Strong knowledge of donor cultivation,



stewardship and ethical fundraising practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build genuine relationships with donors and stakeholders.
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines.
- A creative, analytical and data-driven mindset, with the ability to turn insights into action.
- Experience using CRM systems and maintaining accurate donor data; Salesforce experience highly regarded.
- Experience developing engaging, audience-centred fundraising communications.
