About the role FPPV Pty Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Interior Designer to join our design team. This is a full-time position based in Abbotsford, VIC 3067. As an Interior Designer, you will play a key role in conceptualising, developing and delivering exceptional interior design solutions for our diverse range of projects.

You will work collaboratively with clients, architects, and project teams to transform spaces into functional and aesthetically compelling environments that exceed expectations.

What you'll be doing

- Developing creative interior design concepts and schemes that align with client briefs and project objectives
- Creating detailed design presentations, mood boards, 3D visualisations and technical drawings for client review and approval
- Conducting space planning and layout analysis to optimise functionality and flow within interior environments
- Selecting appropriate materials, finishes, colours, furnishings and lighting solutions that complement the overall design vision
- Collaborating with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and design integrity
- Managing design specifications and documentation to support accurate construction and installation
- Liaising with clients throughout the design process to gather feedback, address requirements and ensure satisfaction
- Staying current with interior design trends,



materials and technologies to bring innovative ideas to projects
- Preparing accurate project quotations and managing budgets within agreed parameters
- Conducting site visits and assessments to inform design decisions and identify potential challenges

What we're looking for

- Diploma or degree qualification in Interior Design or equivalent professional qualification from a recognised institution
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software including AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools
- Strong understanding of spatial planning, colour theory, materials science and building codes relevant to interior design
- Excellent visual communication skills and the ability to present design concepts clearly to clients and stakeholders
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated knowledge of current interior design trends, historic movements, and best practice methodologies
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong client relationships
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality design outcomes
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team environment
- A portfolio demonstrating your design capabilities and previous project work
