Intern - Asset Finance / Non-bank lending specialist

About the Role

We're looking for an Intern to join our team. You'll manage the full lending cycle - from initial client enquiry through to settlement - structuring deals across our panel of lenders and building lasting relationships with clients, dealers, and referral partners.

What You'll Be Learning

- Managing new and existing client relationships, understanding their business needs and financial position
- Structuring and packaging asset finance deals (chattel mortgages, finance leases, novated leases, hire purchase) across a broad lender panel
- Preparing and submitting applications, managing lender negotiations, and driving deals through to settlement
- Building and nurturing referral networks with accountants, dealers, and business advisors
- Staying across lender policy changes, rates, and market conditions




- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and licensing requirements

What We're Looking For
- Experience / knowledge in asset finance, equipment finance, or commercial lending (broking or lender-side)
- Understanding of credit assessment, deal structuring, and lender policies
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills - you're as comfortable on the phone with a client as you are negotiating with a credit team
- Self-motivated with robust attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deals at once
- Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience with CRM and lender submission platforms is a plus
