About the role

Reporting to the National Sales & Marketing Manager, you will lead our Internal Sales & Customer Service team and be responsible for ensuring our customers receive an outstanding experience while maximising sales opportunities. This is a hands-on leadership role. You will lead and develop the team while remaining actively involved in customers, quotations, sales opportunities and day-to-day operations.

Key responsibilities

- Lead, coach and develop the Internal Sales & Customer Service team.
- Manage incoming enquiries and ensure they are responded to quickly and professionally.
- Oversee quotations from preparation through to follow-up and conversion.
- Proactively follow up outstanding quotes and sales opportunities.
- Identify opportunities to increase sales through upselling and cross-selling.
- Work closely with our Business Development Managers to support and convert opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with customers and ensure issues are resolved quickly.
- Coordinate customer requirements across Sales, Service, Production, Warehouse and Operations.
- Ensure orders are processed accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor team performance and establish clear KPIs.

About you

- Experience in internal sales, customer service,



sales administration or a similar role.
- Previous experience leading, mentoring or coordinating a team.
- Solid sales and commercial instincts.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive approach to following up opportunities and getting results.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced workplace.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Confidence dealing with customers and resolving issues.
- Strong computer, CRM and ERP skills.
