Runway Fasteners is a trade-only fastener and hardware supplier in Marcoola. Builders, carpenters and trades come through our doors from 5:30 in the morning. The business changed hands in 2025 and is being rebuilt around real product knowledge, consistent pricing and modern systems.

This is a foundational hire. You'll be the face of Runway at the trade counter and on the phone, and you'll help us win new trade customers. It's not a clock-in, clock-out retail job. We want someone with drive and ideas who wants to grow as we grow.

The role

- Serve trades at the counter from 6am
- Handle phone, email and WhatsApp orders
- Check and process quotes and orders in our system. Most of the admin is prepared for you
- Ring builders and trades every week, new and lapsed, and open new accounts
- Look after key trade accounts
- Pitch in with the warehouse, and open up at 5:30am when a team member is away
- Keep the counter and floor in top shape

About you

- You've made outbound sales calls and can tell us what came of them
- You're here at 6am, every day
- You get the detail right: codes, quantities and prices
- Organised,



self-motivated and commercially minded. You look for the next customer
- A current driver's licence

Good to have, not essential

- A trade, building or hardware background
- Experience with an ERP or CRM system
- You use AI tools in your work
- Contacts among Sunshine Coast builders

We'll teach you the range.

What you get

- $65,000 + super, plus uncapped commission on the recent business you bring in
- 6am start, 2:30pm finish, and every second Friday you finish at 10am. No weekends
- A clear path toward account management and external sales as you prove yourself and the business grows
- A small team where your results are easy to see
