Nimbin Multipurpose Centre is seeking a Senior Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department on a 12-week contract from 25 October 2026 to 17 January 2027. Based in Nimbin, NSW, this role offers the opportunity to provide clinical leadership across the Emergency Department, residential aged care facility, and multipurpose services. You'll work in a supportive healthcare setting serving a close-knit community in the Northern Rivers region, bringing your expertise in emergency nursing and clinical decision-making to a team that values experienced practitioners.

- Lead clinical care across Emergency Department, RACF, and multipurpose services with Nurse in Charge responsibilities
- 12-week contract position offering focused, meaningful work in a regional healthcare setting
- Opportunity to apply advanced clinical skills including triage and Advanced Life Support in a collaborative team environment





Preferred Requirements

- Demonstrated Senior Registered Nurse experience with a track record of clinical leadership
- Substantial Emergency Department experience, including triage assessment and patient prioritisation
- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
- Proven experience in a Nurse in Charge or similar leadership capacity
- Ability to work flexibly across multiple service areas within the multipurpose centre

Preferred Qualifications

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse in Australia
- Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated expertise in Emergency Nursing
- Additional certifications in critical care or trauma nursing are advantageous
