HK MATHARU PTY LTD HK Matharu Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Retail Manager to take day to day responsibility for our newsagency at Currimundi Marketplace on the Sunshine Coast. Reporting to the Director, you will lead the retail team, set and hold the sales and service standards, and manage the operational and administrative side of the business. This is a full time permanent position of 38 hours per week, working across a seven day trading roster.

The salary for this position is $80,500 per annum plus superannuation. Perks Full time permanent position of 38 hours per week Salary of $80,500 per annum plus superannuation Day to day management responsibility for the whole store, reporting directly to the Director Established business in a well located Sunshine Coast shopping centre Task & responsibilities Determine the product mix, stock levels and service standards for the store Formulate and implement purchasing and marketing policies and set selling prices Promote and advertise the store's goods and services, including planning promotions and displays Manage stock, including ordering, receiving, merchandising, returns and stocktakes Maintain records of stock levels and financial transactions and prepare budgets for the store Recruit, roster,



train and supervise retail staff Oversee point of sale, cash handling, banking and daily reconciliations Manage lottery and Golden Casket terminal operations and newsagency specific services Ensure compliance with work health and safety and relevant retail regulations Deliver a high standard of customer service and resolve customer enquiries and complaints Qualification & experience At least 2 years' full time relevant experience in a retail management or supervisory role

An AQF Diploma or higher in retail or business management, or equivalent relevant work experience Strong stock control, merchandising and cash handling ability Sound leadership, rostering and staff supervision skills Confident with point of sale and retail computer systems Availability to work across a seven day trading roster, including weekends and public holidays About Company HK Matharu Pty Ltd operates an established retail newsagency at Currimundi Marketplace on the Sunshine Coast.
