Based within a dynamic Humanities and Social Sciences faculty, this position offers the opportunity to teach senior Economics and Accounting, while also contributing to Business education programs in Years 9 and 10.

About the Role

- Teach Economics and Accounting across Years 11-12, with Business studies opportunities in Years 9-10.
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and challenging learning experiences aligned with ACARA and QCAA requirements.
- Differentiate learning to cater for diverse student needs and maximise academic outcomes.
- Support students through a safe,



inclusive and engaging learning environment.
- Contribute to project-based learning initiatives and broader faculty programs.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents and the wider school community to support student success.
- Participate in skilled learning, school events and co-curricular activities.

About You

- Relevant teaching qualifications with a major in Economics, Accounting or Business.
- Current Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration.
- Experience teaching senior Economics and/or Accounting.
- Knowledge of QCAA syllabus requirements and external assessment processes.
- A passion for high-quality teaching and learning and achieving outstanding student outcomes.
- Strong communication, collaboration and relationship‑building skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth and contributing positively to school culture.
