About the Role An exciting opportunity has become available for an Investment Analyst to join our Brisbane-based Retail team, supporting two large Queensland retail assets, Coomera and Robina. The opportunity has arisen through an internal promotion, demonstrating the career trajectory and development pathways available at QIC.

Working closely with the Investment Manager and broader asset team, the role offers exposure across financial analysis, asset strategy, leasing, valuations, budgeting and stakeholder engagement. You will join a dynamic and collaborative team that is committed to coaching, training and supporting your development as you build a strong foundation in property investment.

About You

You are commercially minded, analytically strong and motivated to build your career in retail property investment. You enjoy working with numbers and detail, while also building relationships across leasing, centre management, property management and funds management teams.

With a proactive and personable approach, you are comfortable asking questions, developing new skills and taking ownership of high-quality analysis. Experience in property, valuations, funds management, research, property management or a related area will provide a strong platform for success.

Key responsibilities

- Support financial modelling, forecasting, budgeting and investment analysis across the assets.
- Monitor asset performance and provide explicit, accurate reporting and insights.
- Contribute to asset strategies,



annual strategic plans and initiatives designed to enhance performance and manage risk.
- Partner with leasing, centre management, property management and funds management teams.
- Assist with quarterly and annual valuations, investor reporting, acquisitions and disposals as required.
- Analyse retail sales, rents, occupancy costs, leasing performance and other key asset metrics.
- Support the preparation of papers, presentations and recommendations for senior stakeholders.

Essential Criteria

- A degree in Property Economics, Business, Economics, Commerce or a related discipline.
- Approximately three years of relevant experience across property, investment analysis, valuations, funds management or project delivery.
- Strong financial analysis and modelling capability, supported by advanced Excel skills.
- An understanding of valuation methodology and property investment fundamentals.
- Strong attention to detail, written communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A genuine interest in retail property and the drivers of asset performance.
- Experience using Forbury or similar property modelling software will be highly regarded.
