- The ICT Business Partner provides customer engagement and contributes to service delivery management activities across the NSW Parliament
- Ongoing full-time - Sydney CBD based
- $116,981 to $129,492 per annum, plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.

About the role: The ICT Business Partner provides customer engagement and contributes to service delivery management activities across the NSW Parliament.

The role builds and maintains relationships with business units, departments, and Members’ offices to understand and keep abreast of their technology needs, promote digital services, deliver user training, and capture, review and report service delivery feedback.

The Business Partner plays a key role in improving customer satisfaction and service alignment across a diverse client base including the provision of proactive support.

Based in NSW Parliament, the Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) is a specialist service department working to support the operation of the Parliament of NSW by providing logistical support and advice to members, the Departments of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly and the people of New South Wales. Our office is found close to public transport in the heart of Macquarie Street CBD, next to the State Library and Sydney’s Botanic Gardens.

About you In this role you would require demonstrated sound experience in a liaison and business support role. Information technology (IT) background with knowledge and proficiency in commonly used workplace IT applications, tools, systems and hardware. Intermediate level technical knowledge of and experience with commonly used workplace applications and services (e.g., Microsoft 365, collaboration tools, endpoint technology). Understanding of service delivery principles and customer experience best practices.

Essential Requirements

- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent skilled experience.
- Ability and willingness to travel to regional and remote locations within NSW to meet with users and stakeholders. Certification or experience with ITIL Foundation (or higher) in service management practices.
