In this role, you'll:

Working as part of a team delivering:

- Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), ITS product implementation, and production line works, supporting the successful delivery of ITS projects by meeting client requirements for time, cost, quality, and scope.

- You will support the assembly, wiring, testing, maintenance, and installation of ITS hardware, software, panels, controllers, and related electrical equipment in accordance with client specifications and industry standards.

- You will assist in the design, development, implementation, testing, and commissioning of ITS projects, including the preparation and execution of Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) procedures.

- You will provide technical support across project lifecycles by applying appropriate engineering procedures, guidelines, processes, and best practices while interpreting electrical, electronic, and mechanical drawings.

- You will contribute to project delivery by supporting contract administration, procurement activities, technical evaluations, and compliance with relevant legislation,



safety requirements, and TfNSW standards.

You will work independently on complex technical tasks with minimal supervision and may be required to travel, work outside normal hours, and safely use vehicles, hand tools, power tools, and small equipment as required.

About you

- Your experience advantage includes installing, testing, commissioning, maintaining, and troubleshooting electronic and Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) equipment to ensure reliable operations or equivalent.

- In addition to the above, you will be required to work outside of normal working hours (including night shift) and away from home as on when required.

- Your knowledge of ITS technologies is an advantage, electronic principles, industry standards, safety requirements, and quality practices enables effective delivery and maintenance of transport infrastructure.

- You can interpret technical drawings, electrical and electronic schematics, specifications, and work instructions, while leveraging diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and specialised software to identify and resolve faults.

- Your skills in problem-solving, reporting, Microsoft Office applications, communication,



and teamwork support accurate asset management, customer service, and continuous improvement outcomes.

- Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with strong communication skills and a commitment to customer service and continuous improvement.
