AKD is seeking an energetic, self-driven and diligent Finance Professional to join our team. This position will support our Group Finance Team in a multi-faceted role which is suited to someone seeking a role with opportunities for development and growth.

The role will assist with various finance activities and be exposed to a range of Group Finance responsibilities, working closely with several senior team members. This position is based at our Bromfield Street, Colac office and will report to the Group Financial Controller while completing regular tasks for other senior Group Finance team members.





This is a great opportunity for someone with either a relevant qualification or demonstrated experience in a relevant finance position who embraces a challenge and variety in their role.

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Accounts Receivable tasks – invoicing, receipting and reporting.
- General Accounting tasks – supporting site and group finance teams.
- Budgeting and Forecasting assistance.
- Project accounting/reporting assistance.
- Month end task – assistance with reporting, accounting and queries.

Junior Accountant Requirements:

- Ability to prioritise daily workload
- Experience with Accounts Receivable/Bookkeeping
- A pro-active approach to problem solving
- Possesses a high level of proficiency in Excel and has experience in an accounting package
- Excellent verbal and written skills
