Gregory’s Steel Supply is looking for a reliable and motivated Junior Warehouse Hand to join our team.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and wants to learn new skills in a busy steel supply and processing environment.

Previous steel industry experience is not essential. We are more interested in finding someone with the right attitude, work ethic and willingness to learn.

You will work alongside our experienced warehouse team and be trained across different areas of our operation.

What You'll Be Doing

Your day-to-day duties will include:

- Picking and preparing steel orders
- Assisting experienced staff with cutting and processing jobs
- Measuring materials accurately
- Learning to use steel cutting and processing equipment
- Moving and organising material within the warehouse
- Loading and unloading customer vehicles and deliveries
- Putting incoming stock away correctly
- Organising steel, offcuts and work areas
- Preparing materials and jobs for the cutting team
- Checking quantities, material sizes and job requirements
- Assisting with general warehouse duties
- Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe

As your experience develops, there will be opportunities to learn more of our machinery and take on greater responsibility.

A current driver's licence would be advantageous. A forklift licence or previous warehouse, steel, manufacturing, construction or trade experience would also be an advantage, but is not essential for the right person.
