Arkhé is looking for a passionate and motivated Junior Sommelier to join our team.

THE ROLE

As a Casual Junior Sommelier, you’ll assist with the day-to-day operation of our wine service while helping showcase Arkhé’s broad and extensive wine list to our guests.

You’ll work closely with the Head Sommelier and wider front-of-house teams to deliver knowledgeable, engaging and genuine hospitality.

You’ll be responsible for

- Assisting with day-to-day sommelier duties

- Presenting and serving wine with confidence and care

- Helping guests navigate our broad and extensive wine list

- Providing thoughtful wine recommendations suited to individual preferences

- Supporting wine sales and helping the business achieve its targets

- Maintaining wine presentation, storage and service standards

- Assisting with stock management and cellar organisation

- Supporting the wider front-of-house team, including waiting and other key service areas

- Contributing to a seamless and memorable guest experience

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for someone who is passionate, curious and eager to grow within the wine and hospitality industry.

You’ll ideally have





- A genuine interest in wine and a desire to continue learning

- Previous experience in a restaurant, bar or hospitality environment

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A confident, friendly and engaging approach with guests
- The ability to work as part of a team across all areas of front of house
- A positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed

- Strong attention to detail and a professional presentation
- The drive to develop wine sales and contribute to business performance
- The ability to remain calm, organised and focused during busy service

Formal wine qualifications are welcome but not essential. We’re more interested in your attitude, enthusiasm and willingness to learn.

Most importantly, you’ll believe in true hospitality and understand that great wine service is about making guests feel comfortable, informed and excited.
