We are seeking a motivated and reliable Junior Service Technician Assistant to join our service team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone who is hands-on, eager to learn, and interested in developing a career as a service technician.

Working alongside experienced technicians, you will assist with servicing, maintenance, repairs, installations, and general technical support while gaining valuable practical experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist service technicians with daily servicing, maintenance, and repair work on various heat exchange systems.
- De-grease, washing and cleaning of metal parts and components prior to undertaking repairs.
- Prepare and organise tools, equipment, parts, and materials required for jobs.
- Assist with equipment installation, testing, and commissioning under supervision.
- Operate basic hand tools.
- Help diagnose basic faults and technical issues.
- Load, unload, and safely transport tools and equipment.
- Finish fabricated parts by filing, cleaning or painting as required.
- Manual handling including lifting and bending.
- Follow instructions from senior technicians and supervisors.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Undertake other duties as required to support the service team.

About You The successful candidate will ideally have:

- A strong interest in mechanical, electrical, technical, or maintenance work.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- A hands-on approach and good practical skills.
- Strong work ethic,



reliability, and punctuality.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- The ability to follow instructions and work safely.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently once trained.
- Knowledge of workshop tools and equipment.
- A current driver's licence is desirable.
- A forklift licence is desirable.
- Hand tool skills are desirable.
- Knowledge of heat exchange systems is advantageous but not essential.
- Previous technical, mechanical, or maintenance experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Must be Australian resident with full working rights.
