Retail Team Member – Berkelo

We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic Retail Team Member to join our team at our pop-up bakery stand in South Village, Kirrawee.

This is a customer-facing role selling our range of freshly baked bread, pastries and other baked goods. You’ll get to know our products, share your knowledge with customers, offer samples and help create a great experience for everyone who visits our stand.

Casual position is available, with shifts across weekdays, weekends and public holidays. Morning and daytime shifts only.

The Gig

- Deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming experience for every customer
- Sell and confidently talk customers through our range of breads, pastries and baked goods
- Learn our products, ingredients and baking processes so you can confidently answer customer questions
- Offer samples and introduce customers to recent and seasonal products
- Process customer orders and payments accurately
- Open and close the bakery stand, ensuring everything is ready for trade and securely packed away at the end of the day
- Manage queues and confidently operate the stand during solo shifts
- Maintain stock levels and communicate stock requirements and orders




- Keep the stand clean, organised and presented to a high standard
- Follow food safety and hygiene requirements
- Be a genuine ambassador for the brand and our products

The You
- Previous retail, hospitality or customer service experience is preferred, but not essential
- Friendly, confident and enthusiastic personality
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Comfortable working independently and taking responsibility for the stand
- Able to work in a quick-paced environment while maintaining great customer service
- Reliable and punctual
- Interested in food and excited to learn about bread, pastries and our products
- Available to work weekends and public holidays
- Must have the right to work in Australia

Pay: $32.00 – $38.00 per hour
