Job Description

UnitingCare Queensland in Cairns is seeking a Counsellor to provide counselling and therapeutic support to children, young people, adults, families and groups in our Community Mental Health services.

You will undertake assessments, provide counselling and referrals, participate in case reviews and facilitate group education, advocating for clients to support positive outcomes. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and trauma-informed practice are required.
