About the role
We are seeking a motivated and professional Leasing Assistant to join our Residential Property Management team.
This is a varied and fast-paced role focused on the successful leasing of residential properties on behalf of Residential Rental Providers (RRPs) while delivering exceptional service to both rental providers and renters.
Working closely with our Property Management team, you will play an important role in coordinating inspections, processing applications, supporting leasing activities and ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the leasing process.
Previous experience in real estate or administration is desirable but not essential. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the first step in their real estate career, with comprehensive training, mentoring and ongoing support provided to help you develop your skills and build a successful future in the industry.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting open for inspections and private inspections
- Coordinating and preparing weekday and Saturday inspection schedules
- Managing keys for inspections,
including key sign-in and sign-out procedures
- Responding to email and telephone enquiries within 24 hours
- Assisting with renter application processing, reference checks and document verification
- Supporting Property Managers with leasing administration and general team assistance
- Ordering property photography and virtual furniture services when required
- Assisting with preparation of condition reports and incoming inspection documentation
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and company procedures
- Developing positive relationships with renters, Residential Rental Providers and contractors
- Monitoring local market activity and maintaining a strong understanding of rental market trends
- Upholding professional presentation standards and representing the business positively at all times
About you:
- Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice (or working towards it)
- A current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
- A current Police Check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and a proactive attitude
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
