We are looking for a friendly and motivated Early Childhood Educator to join our team.

n

In this position you will be expected to be an active member of a team which provides high quality early childhood education and care to children, by:

n

Developing positive, comforting and nurturing relationships with children at the service

n

Developing positive and respectful relationships that support and partner with families and the community

n

Implementing the policies and associated procedures of the organisation at all times

n

Working with other staff towards continuous improvement in all areas of the service’s operations.

n

Early Childhood Education - minimum requirement Cert III in Early Childhood Education and Care.

n

Child Protection Qualification

n

Clear Working with Children Check

n

Current First Aid Certificate

n

Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training

n

Demonstrated experience in leading children at group time

n

Demonstrated experience in observing and documenting children's play using EYLF

n





Responsibilities include:

n

Assist with the implementation of a play-based learning environment responsive to children's interest, strengths and abilities

n

Contribute to the planning, development, implementation, evaluation and reflection of programs which reflect the Early Years Learning Framework and the emerging skills and interests of children

n

Engage in critical reflection and evaluation of children's learning

n

Ensure children's individual needs and wellbeing are supported

n

Contribute to the development of an setting that is safe and fosters curiosity, exploration and problem solving

n
