The Opportunity Ventia is currently seeking a Landscape Maintenance Worker to join our team on a permanent basis. In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the landscape and vegetation across the EastLink Motorway and associated areas, including wetlands, grassed and landscaped areas, and shared user paths.

EastLink is a vital 39-kilometre motorway servicing Melbourne’s eastern and south-eastern suburbs. This is an excellent opportunity to join a skilled team working across a diverse range of landscaping and vegetation maintenance activities.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm

Rostered Day Off (RDO): Every second Monday

About The Role As a Landscape Maintenance Worker, your responsibilities will include:

- Weed control and herbicide application
- General vegetation maintenance, including pruning, hedging, weeding and mulching
- Grass mowing and general grounds maintenance
- Planting and garden maintenance
- Litter collection
- General road maintenance and labouring activities
- Working safely within a live traffic environment

About You We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working outdoors and has experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance or a related industry. Ideally,



You Will Have

- A current MR licence
- Solid experience in landscaping or vegetation maintenance
- Experience working in a live traffic environment or on roads
- Experience operating tractors and mowing decks is advantageous
- Experience using arborist tools and machinery
- Experience in commercial landscaping, parks and gardens, landscape gardening, vegetation management is highly desirable

- Chemical handling and/or chainsaw qualifications is highly desirable, but not essential
