About the role:

- Handle lease breaches, termination, refurbishment, demolition, relocation, make good, abandonment and landlord remedies.
- A mix of litigated matters, urgent applications and alternative dispute resolution.
- Work on development, land sale, misrepresentation and unconscionable conduct claims.
- Prepare urgent applications, including relief against forfeiture, statutory notices and enforcement action.
- Advise on retail leasing law, contract interpretation, franchising, bankruptcy and winding-up disputes.
- Draft pleadings and evidence; progress litigation, mediations and conciliations.

The ideal candidate:

- 3+ years’ post-admission experience in commercial litigation, disputes or property litigation.




- Experience running a varied disputes caseload; exposure to property or leasing matters is particularly welcome.
- Confidence appearing in court, with strong drafting, legal research and analytical skills.
- Excellent organisation, attention to detail and the ability to balance competing deadlines.
- A commercial, client-focused approach, clear communication skills and a cooperative attitude towards junior colleagues.
