We work across a wide range of projects - commercial fit-outs, home renovations, extensions, bathrooms, insurance work, and commercial maintenance. About the Role

We're looking for a Lead Carpenter to be our most senior carpenter on-site. This is a hands-on role - you'll be on the tools every day, running the carpentry side of each job and leading a small crew of carpenters and apprentices. You'll plan the work, keep the job flowing, and make sure everything is done to a high standard. You'll work closely with our supervisor and management team, with a clear path to grow into a supervisor role as the business grows.

Responsibilities

- Complete skilled carpentry work - setting out, framing, fit-off, and finishing
- Lead a small crew, allocate daily tasks, and check the quality of the work
- Read plans and work out the sequence of the job so the crew stays productive
- Flag material needs ahead of time and coordinate with other trades on-site




- Train and mentor apprentices and junior team members
- Problem-solve on-site challenges efficiently and resourcefully
- Maintain a positive, safe team culture
- Uphold Dynamic's standard of quality and help build our reputation with clients and subcontractors

About You

- Qualified carpenter (Certificate III in Carpentry) with solid post-trade experience
- Experience leading a small crew, or ready to step into a leading hand role
- Confident across framing, fit-out, and finishing work
- Able to read plans and set out accurately
- Resourceful and versatile - comfortable across a range of project types
- Great communicator with clients, trades, and the team
- Strong attention to detail
- Trustworthy, approachable, and easy to work with
- Current driver's licence and White Card
