Journey Early Learning is opening our brand-new 98-place centre in Parap , and we’re looking for experienced Diploma-qualified Lead Educators to join our team.

Diploma qualification and previous Lead Educator experience are essential.

✨ About the Role

As a Lead Educator, you’ll:

Lead, mentor and support a team of educators

Create engaging, play-based learning experiences aligned with the EYLF

Help establish your room’s routines, environments and team culture

Build strong relationships with children and families

Support children’s individual learning, development and wellbeing

Guide observations, planning and Storypark documentation

Work closely with the Centre Leadership Team

Maintain a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment

About You

You’re an experienced Lead Educator who is confident leading a room, supporting your team and creating high-quality learning environments.

You’ll bring:

ACECQA-recognised Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care

Previous experience as a Lead Educator

Strong understanding of the EYLF and play-based learning

Confidence mentoring and supporting educators





Strong communication and relationship-building skills A collaborative and positive leadership style

Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates

Completed National Child Safety Training
