We're seeking an experienced Leading Hand to lead the on-site team at our Tamarama residential project. You'll be responsible for day-to-day site coordination, quality assurance, safety compliance, and ensuring seamless delivery of this build.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and supervise trade teams in office, ensuring productivity and quality standards
- Coordinate scheduling and sequencing across multiple trades
- Conduct daily safety briefings and maintain compliance with WHS requirements
- Quality inspect work against specifications and contract requirements
- Liaise with PPC management on progress, variations, and site issues
- Manage day labour and subcontractor coordination
- Maintain site records, timesheet approval,
and documentation
- Report on progress and flag risks or delays promptly
About you
- Minimum 5+ years construction experience in high-end residential building
- Proven leadership experience on complex residential projects
- Strong knowledge of luxury residential construction practices
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Current White Card (or equivalent), drivers licence
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Proactive approach to quality and safety
